To effectively provide enrichment beyond the classroom, an educator must provide a flexible learning environment that encourages individual ideas while catering to all thinking styles. Excellence is not an act, but a good social habit developed by a positive approach to maximum potential learning. Gifted Education is not an honor or a privilege, it is a need. (J. Clark 2002). The activities in this site are designed to meet this need by encouraging individualized highly motivated creative learning through differentiated processes and products. The site contains research links, creative writing, games, videos, music, and slide shows. This site is developed by students using their independent decision making and creativity skills. The cover pictures that are changed four times a year are designed to make the user learn something interesting through higher level questioning. |
